Ok we've covered this a while ago but it's later in the year and i was wondering if anyone has used power slinkys for there ray five or whatever they have, and if so are they better then regular slinkys?

i have been wondering the same thing i want to try them on my ray 4 but my guitar center doesnt have them.

Power slinkys are different gauges for five and four strings. 5 string power slinkys have a 0.050 G, 4 strings have a 0.055 G.

I have power slinkies on my 4 string Stingray. I like them in terms of sound, but I'm going to go with something else next time. I find they're inhibiting my playing slightly because they have a bit too much tension.
