Has anyone ever seen a Pre-EB Stingray with a fretted "Ebony" fretboard? I was told there were a few produced. Anyone have any answers? Thanks in advance!

Also, would anyone else like to see MM offer "Ebony" as an option on necks? They did on the "Black Onyx" sterling.

I've never seen nor heard of a fretted Ebony Pre-EB, but anything's possible and wouldn't be surprised if one showed up. They had fretless Ebony.

In 1982 they offered the Sting Ray with a graphite neck without the word "Cutlass" on the headstock. On the other hand, the Cutlass (also with graphite neck) was introduced in 1980. Graphite can give the appearance of Ebony so maybe that's the confusion!!???
