Preferred finish on an Albert Lee SSS

After selling some gear, I am probably in the market for an AL SSS. Already looking at the variety in finishes that Music Man has for the AL. I would really like some kind of burst, as my other AL's are black and white. Which one would you choose? Any pictures of 'burst' AL's are appreciated!

Are you looking new or used? New I'd consider holding out and seeing what the next PDN offer is. If you are looking used, I'd look for a Blue Dawn or something unique. I like paint, so that would be my suggestion.

There aren't too many used ones around here, mostly priced high so with a little more saving I could order one myself. So most likely it will be new. Waiting for the next PDN offering was one of my options too... All maple roasted neck on an AL would be great

I have a Black Cherry Burst and that's what I voted for. My other AL is a Pacific Blue Burst an that's looks extremely cool! Out of my two ALs I prefer the Pacific Blue Burst!

Also the new standard silver sparkle finish is pretty sick on the AL with a black pickguard

Thanks for all the suggestions! PBB > nice finish, but blue is not for me. Silver sparkle is very tempting, but one sparkle guitar is enough for me.

I put my own vote in, at the moment my preference is Black Cherry Burst. Black pickguard, trem and non-matching headstock. Let's see if that idea sticks untill the moment comes I can actually order one..

This should be EBMMs next model. Al shape with HSS. Maybe even route it for a Floyd or JP like bridge. Cool color combos
