Hi everyone !

Back again with another project aside from the dargie delight. I have a second OLP wich was Candy Red, so i tought with not customize it.

Going from HSS to HH is not easy, i had to recut the single hole and fill the middle one with special composite.

So:

*True gold paint
*2 Dimarzio Transition Humbuckers
*Piezo Sadles by Graphtech
*Schaler m6 Tuners
*Not Matching Headstock with stickers.

Ive already done the Headstock :

And here is the guitar today, with finished routing and undercoat.

The Project seems cool, but I wouldn't have put the EBMM Logo on it. I'm pretty sure that's Copyright Infringment, some folks that Refinish their Original Music Mans don't even put the Logo back on. I'd put a Custom Logo on it or the OLP Logo
I need to finish my JP Purple Sunset Prohject with all those Mods here lately

It's not really a copyright inprigement, because OLP was built under license of Ernie ball. It's an exact copy. :)

Looks like you are doing a nice job...but the headstock is an issue.

Ask your local grocer if he is allowed to relabel the generic Fruit Spins as Kellogg's Froot Loops.

I think its fine as long as you never try to sell or misrepresent it, and its only for your own private use. But i could see how ebmm might not like it.

Nice project again!

Thank you ! Those OLPs are fantastic, you can't compare them with EBMM of course, but with a few mods they are really great guitars, plays like dreams! And you can find them dirt cheap and mod them !

I got this one in exchange of a reverb module ! haha Does someone have infos on these OLP? Price new, made in what, when?

Very cool project. The wordmark is a trademark of EBMM, though. You can can see how there might be confusion down the line if/when somebody buys it and think they've purchased a Music Man- that's why Sterling Ball has asked that if you modify a guitar, you don't put the EBMM logo on it.

I don't know, I would certainly not put an EBMM logo on a headstock on a similar project if I could do it -- out of respect of EBMM and all the work they do to make their guitars excellent.

Yea i know. but i like it that way, even if it's not a real EBMM. The original OPL logo is ugly, and nothing i found it stupid. I feel like the guy who is sticking m3 on a 320d... lol

I ordered the true gold today, should be here quick !

I would love to see an update as well. As someone who likes to tinker with guitars, I know it can be a slow process.

Anyone know what the correct Kustom Kolor code is for True Gold?
