Help removing JP control knob!!!

this might sound dumb, but i was wondering if there was anyway i could possibly take the knob off...say a tone pot? its really hard on these things, so i'm wondering if they're not supposed to just be pulled off like normal knobs?

is it possible to remove the knobs on this thing (and yes, i know the knobs are sweet and everything, But...)? if so, how?

thanks very much!

I think you have to take off the rubber thing, and you will find a screw which you may unscrew. i never try that thou

Yes...You have to remove the rubber grip on the knob. Push it down. Do not try and pull it up and off the knob. Once you push it down, you will expose the set screw.

oh excellent, thank you...

i finally fiddled with it, and did what i needed to!!!

many thanks!!!

If I had a signature guitar it would have no knobs - just a 5-way or toggle and a small kill switch the size of a coil split switch - I always keep my knobs full on, and get aggrivated when I hit them accidentally.

I'd rather have someone else fiddle with my knob :D
