i have a question - how loose are the control knobs on the SUB's supposed to be? my volume knob seems ok, but the bass/treble controls seem really loose

are those little allen key hole thingies (on the knob) supposed to tighten the knobs? and will tightening them too much damage anything?

I think those little allen wrench holes are just for that purpose. Have a go & see what you can do. I don't think you'll break anything as long as you don't over do it.

Thing is, it might be the 'pole' that the knobs are attached to being a little loose, so no matter how tight the knobs are, the action will always seem baggy.

Someone will hopefull come along with a better explanbation, but I hope that helps in the meantime....

yeh - its jus cos the knobs seem to lack a bit of control when adjusting...

anyone?
i also hav a question about the 2-band EQ on the SUBs - when you boost both treble and bass, does it boost MID as well, sorta like a interactive MID control?

Well, on SUBs, the EQ is cut only. I'd imagine the EQ is just split down at some point, with the thumpier half being bass cut and the other the high cut, so cutting both would be like cutting the entire EQ range, mids included. So yes. :p
