Hey,

I'm thinking of buying a SUB (the 2 pickup model), but had a question for all you SUB owners out there..........what kind of music do you think the SUB is best suited for??? I'm not much of a metal guy, more into the blues and classic rock....and I like to play clean too(I play in a band in my church on occassion and need a clean sound for that). So what do you think......can you get a bluesy sound out of the SUB??? What do you think of its clean sounds?? Let me know what you think please.......all responses appreciated.

Oh yeah.....I play through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, and a Vox Cambridge 15 (for practice).

Thanks,

jabba

Ah a question for me finally. Man you will not be dissapointed in the SUB bro, I play all kinds of music and the SUB handles everything. If you want to here how it sounds with a relatively clean tone, just click below or click here

Blue Sky

and click on the Blue Sky tune. Its a bluesy number played with the Sub1. Its an older tune, but it gives you an idea.
Best of all the SUB 1 is a sweet guitar to play, smooth and fast action! (Although you won't hear that from me!)

Nice playing there Raz.......I thought that clip sounded great.

Yeah these SUBs seem like great guitars. I was in Long & McQuade yesterday trying one out through a Traynor YCV40, and I really liked the bright, clean sounds that I was getting. The neck and feel of the guitar I thought were both really exceptional too.

See, I've got a Fender 62 reissue strat, but I'd really like to get a guitar with humbuckers, for a change of pace. Given the sound and playability of the SUB, combined with the reasonable price, I think there's a good chance I'll be picking one up.

Thanks for your response (it pretty much confirmed what I was thinkin').

If you love them so much, why do that? :p

Good question, well first off I would need to give it alot of thought. Secondly since I have 7 guitars, and I find myself playing the 7 strings more these days then I think it's not that bad of a move...I hope!
