This is a little off topic, but I need some opinions... My band booked some studio time a little over a month ago to go in a record a full album (time consuming and not cheap). After some studio tours and word of mouth we settled on a studio and booked a week. Well in the last couple of days I've run into not one but two pissed off clients. One was peeved at the amount of phone calls the engineer was making on the clock and the other claims that the engineer let an intern do the mix and they had to re-do the guitars and have it mixed elsewhere. What to do? Personally I like the vibe I got from the studio and the engineer, not to mention that we've all already taken the time off work... BUT no money had changed hands yet so if I'm gonna bail, now would be the time.... What do you guys think

In the studios I've recorded in we didn't pay up front. You should feel it out for a couple of days and see for yourself how the guy runs the place. If you don't like it you can always walk away. You shouldn't be locked into anything. Who knows, it may not be as bad as that person made it out to be.

Yeah, thats probably what I'll do. I just don't want this tick in back of my head that goes "is he gonna screw me over?" We'll see... I've been to see Knox, I think we scared him
