Hi,
Just wondering, how do we tighten the fretboard if its kinda loose from the body? Is it possible to happen?

Your fretboard is coming up??? Or is the neck loose??? If the board is coming up, up need to have it removed and then reglue it. If it is the neck, then it is a whole different story.

Still kind of shaking my head over this one... I have never seen a fretboard come up on its own (I've seen them removed on purpose - but never one just come up - go figure!)

I just got an Axis Sport in for repair...The guy had the fretboard replaced by a "luthier"...Fret ends were sticking out enough so you would bleed if you played it...AND the new fretboard was coming unglued...Never seen a job so butchered in my life. Probably doesn't apply to this thread, but WTF...

Its not really a biggie, maybe im just too paranoid. WHen i rest my arm on top of the neck, I can feel that the neck is moving downward, just a very little bit, just very very little, cant be noticed with eyes though. Is it normal or im just too paranoid.

Or maybe because its cold that the wood contracts or sth, therefore it loosen up?

Could be... unfortunately I'll have to defer this one to the some of the other bass gurus. I have an older bass that has a little neck play, but I have never fixed it (and hope that the neck doesn't fly off on me one day ) - It could be nothing, could be some wear on the joint or on the screws or it could be something else entirely... sorry I'm not too much help here.

Its all good, it can be nothing.Its a new bass actually, only a month years old. Im kinda crazy over small thing which entirely nothing. Thanks "kermit"

i dunno jo, is it all depends on the bolts on the plate? whats the function of the plates? is it just to cover it?

In that case u should get a screwdriver and tighten the bolts on the plate on the body

All necks have a certain amount of play to them. Difficult to know whether yours is normal from a written description.

The bolts are fine... just an old, worn joint with a bit of play to it (the bass is UGLY but it sounds and plays great)

Technik,how do you like your rumble 60?
I bought a rumble100 the other day for a practice amp at home, it is almooosst
up there with the bassman I have but not quite.Nevertheless; a very good amp and the price can't be beat.

I really love it. It works good as a practice amp. Very suitable for playin in my apartment.

Ive got a very good deal for the amp. =) How do you like the Rumble 100? do you use it as a practice amp?

Hi Technik,
I purchased it to use at home for a practice amp. Yes, 100 watts is sorta large for home use( It doesn't have to be turned wide open) but I traded in a crate 80 watt I was using for practice, I almost purchased another Bassman 100 the same I use at church but $150.00 and the old crate for the rumble 100 I could not resist.
This thing really has some low bottom and I like the head phone jack for late night when my wife is trying to sleep.
I am once again a very happy camper.

Yeah, Im living in an apt, not house If i live at house, i'll be getting the more power amp. Where did you get ur amp?
