So ive been browsing the web tryign to find an ASS with MM90s and I found this one at boomersmusic.com ...

is it me or is the bookmatch really bad???

I attached a couple images (hope it worked) ... but doesn't the right hand side just look wrong, almost blurry?

I'm GASin for a guitar like this but the bookmatch is turning me way off :(

I dunno, I'm more likely to blame the photographer than the book-matching until I see it in person... It looks like it might be an interesting piece of Maple to me....

I agree with Jimi. If you are looking for an ASS MM90 look at gbase.com. They have several differenton es on there. Some of the prices are a little high but sometimes you can really get a deal.

I'm also with Jimi on this. The clearer side of the photo has an interesting pattern and the other could be bad flash/angle/lighting etc. I like the deep overall color of the burst though. If this place is nowhere near you, maybe the seller can post another pic. Or if you let us know where the place is, it might be near someone who posts and who may know it or could stop by the shop.

Good Luck

I would be very wary of ordering semi-blind like this. The bookmatch doesn't look anywhere near perfect and will probably annoy you a lot if you get it. I bought a 1997 Gibson Jimmy Page a few years ago like this and the top bugged the hell out of me as it had a stunning flame on the top side, and a plain patch on the bottom - I sold it last year to finance a PRS which I walked into the shop and played and inspected from every angle before I was happy :)
