Is there any place I can order replacement nuts for my Stingray? Also, I'd love it if my stingray had a full 24 frets. Are there any aftermarket necks out there, other than graphite?

Hm... If you do find a 24 fret neck that fits the StingRay, can you post photos and tell how it plays? I'd love to know about that.

Replacement nuts are available from the factory. The Part # for the SR5 is M0 5152.
Call our customer service dept for details. (866)823-2255.

The New Music Man Bongo is 24 fret ! Worth
checking out.

Hmmm, Bongo, you say?

I might have to look into this.

Hey, for those of you considering changing out a STingray neck for some 24 fret deal? Remember that it would change the distance between the nut and the bridge, effectively rendering it impossible to intonate without repositioning the entire bridge assembly.

Plus, ain't no money above the fifth fret, heh heh.

That's a valid point. Unless, of course, the neck had a fingerboard extension.

While there may be no money above the fifth fret, playing above the 12th gets you the girls (or the guys, depending on gender or sexual preference) and makes guitar players nervous.
