Question Retrofitting tuners to a Ray34

I have a Silverburst Ray34, and I'm wondering if anyone can verify that Hipshot's HB-1 Music Man replacement keys will fit?

I believe the HB7's are the exact fit. At least they were on my Ray34-CA.

If they fit to a Ray34CA then they will fit all of the Sterling By Music Man line, as they all share the same tuners.

Ive ordered a ray34ca. And planning to put schallers on there. Has annyone tried this? I would buy the bml model tuners but since the originals are bigger i fear the holes of the original tuners will show. And only want to replace if it can be done in a non visible way. Another option is buying schallers for old j-bass wich looks the same but the backplate is larger. This will surely cover all holes but not sure if they will fit...
