i did a search and couldnt find this question or answer. is the the sabres bridge pickup in the same spot as the sting rays or is it closer to the bridge?

sabre pickup ?

I measured my 89 Stingray and my 79 Sabre and they are in the same place. It's a bit hard to tell, it looks different because the bridges aren't the same so I measured from the butt end of the neck and they are about 1/32" different.

Sabre Bridge Pickup
Hello- I own a Sabre, and for a few years owned a Stingray. Though it has been several years since I owned the stingray, I always thought the sabre bridge pickup was closer to the bridge than the Stingray. But Bovinhost says differently and he apparantly still has both basses. So, I'd defer to him.
