Thanks man! It's pretty bad out there right now. My neighbors on the other side of the street lost their power. For some reason ours is still on. I've been through numerous hurricanes before. This one is really making me nervous.
 
Thank you my friend , we have a few limbs down and I went down to the ocean earlier and it looked fierce.
The wind seems like it has calmed down alot an we haven't lost any power yet. Other parts of the state have though.
 
It's been raining all day, and the wind has started to really pick up. The lights have flickered a few times, but the power hasn't gone out yet... The important stuff, i.e. computer, amp and Pod HD500 are protected by a UPS and I have an emergency generator ready to go if needed...
 
Good luck guys. I've weathered this s*&# my whole life. Protect your families and your balls at any expense necessary. Hopefully the scum won't start looting like they did to us during Katrina. My prayers go out to all.
 
We've got power, but we've also got a hole in our ceiling that's dumping in water... Hope this calms down tomorrow...
 
We got hit pretty hard and don't expect to have power until Friday. No heat, power, or gas. With the impending Nor'easter, it's going to really get ugly before it gets better.
What really amazes me is seeing how something like this has caused a breakdown of society. People are really acting irrationally. We still have shelter, food, and water so the basic survival necessities are there. I can't imagine how bad people will get if they lose any of those judging by the way that they're acting now. Nothing like a disaster to flush out all of the sociopaths among us.
While I can see having to deal with the aftermath for the next two weeks, it'll be hard to forget the ugliness of human behavior that I've witnessed. Yes, there's also a lot of good hat's happened s well. For instance how our community got together and we're mostly trying to help each other however we can but the strongest images in my mind are some jaw-dropping selfish actions.
 
It get crazy when a natual disaster hits. People lose their freaking minds. I have a 30 day supply of survival food and other materials. That also includes anti-looting material if you know what I mean. We got lucky here. Just a bit of wind, slight flood, power loss for about an hour. Again, we got lucky. I have been through several hurricanes, nor'easters, tornados, etc. Hope you guys recover soon.
 
Things are CRAZY here on LI...I'm just a few miles north of some of the hardest hit here...I donated about 200 lbs of closthing and pet supplies today. Protected my house locking all my gates and was ready to rearrange someone's furniture with a FatMax demo bar...the police scanner here had us a bit worried since we were blacked out for 6 days....temps dropping into the 30's and below freezing, plus the gas shortages (people on lines for hours for $25 worth of the stuff) and it's making for a post-apocalyptic feel...
