UPS delivered my EVH today and even though I've only had a limited amount of time to play with her (while taking care of my "honey-do" list), I've come to one conclusion ...

I've owned alot of uncomfortable guitars in my lifetime.

OMG!

This guitar practically plays itself!
The body is perfectly balanced and light (not to mention gorgeous), the neck is to die for, and the pickups are dynamic, hot and responsive. I've never been much for the neck pickups on any of my guitars, but with THIS guitar, I am actually becoming a big fan of the neck pickup! The guitar appears to be extremely versatile despite the simplicity of the electronics. In this case, less is DEFINATELY more. I can't say enough good things about it!

Makes me wish I had an autographed one.

Bro, the (original) 5150 head and the EVH were a match made in heaven. That combination, to me, is yummy. Forget the foreplay remark Razmatazz made, this combo is the whole swirl of that action...except you can keep playing on after 30 seconds.

She looks nice, minus this issue you speak of in another thread...?
