And it was a pretty good show.

A few "clams' here and there - took them a while to get in sync. Sting's voice sounded great. I thought his bass was too twangy at times. Sound mix was good (and loud) but that old F*nder really didn't cut through very well. Wonder what it would have sounded like if he were playing a Bongo!

Andy Summers looked lost most of the night.

Stewart Copeland, I thougt, was amazing. He beat the crap out of the drums for two hours. Surprised he didn't bash through his snare drum head.

Overall - I liked the show. Maybe not worth the ticket price I paid, though.

Plenty of people selling tickets out front - so if you didn't get tickets to a show near you - take some cash and go - bet you kind find some good seats for less than face value.

Thanks Eggman for the review. I have been wondering about the shows and debating on getting tickets, but did not want to pay too much and be let down.

I'm looking forward to seeing them next month (won tickets on a radio station contest). :D Will post a review afterwards.

Saw them last night in Phoenix. I echo some of the same thoughts Eggy expressed:

Set list was fun and very spread out.

Couldn't hear the guitar many times.

Andy looked lost at times. But when he was on, wow!

Sting nailed some of the songs I didn't expect him too. Voice is still good.

Jazzification of some of the songs didn't work too well.

Some songs weren't as angry as the original. Others, surprisingly, were.

Couldn't hear Gordon's bass at times.

Stewart is the man.

Like Eggy said, not sure it was worth the price of admission. Wish I were able to catch them in their prime.
