No, it is super rare! I have said it before, I hate the "rare" tag. Just used discontinued or something. It is more believeable and it makes things sound more sincere. How many "rare" this and "rare" that have we seen with EBMM EVH's and the super never made before or ever will be made again Blue Dawn?!?!?!?! :rolleyes: My 2 pennies. I hope it sells for you. No but the pickguard is "Super Rare". Also the neck has the "feel of unfinised wood". :D

This is the guy who was selling a "rare" Burnt Apple...it was rare because it had metal flake (like all the rest of 'em)

I think the word rare is being used too much to describe things that just aren't rare, it's like using the word legend the describe Kurt Cobain, that dude ain't a legend, Jimi Hendrix is.

Really, I hope he sells it and gets a good price. But, again, I hate the "rare" tag. It is a play on words that most of us already know. :cool:

maybe we gotta be nicer.

we're all about EB but maybe some of the stuff we say can piss off the forum newbies. sure theyre trying to sell stuff in their first post ... but it would suck if some smartass thing i say could reflect badly on EB and have them lose a customer.

just thinking outloud and am not directing this towards any of us ... just food for thought.

Burnt apple is not rare and they are all sparkly. The phrase "Rare Sparkly Burnt Apple" is a big joke.

Sorry Fred. I think I may have influenced you on that. I just put "rare sparkly" in front of the words "burnt apple" in fond rememberance of a previous event. That and I know how some people hate when anyone says that. You know me, the signature is a little to accurate. Personally I love the words rare sparkly in your signature. It makes me laugh everytime I see it. That alone may be reason enough to remove it.

Hey i've got 3 Axis' one trans red, natural, and honeyburst i know they are still in production but are they rare too ??? LOL !!!!!!!!!! If you would ask some people everything that EM/MM puts out is rare. Just because it's been dicontinued doesn't mean that it is rare, could it possibly be that it just didn't sell that well.

Arin..I had several, um..conversations with this guy before. He would not listen to reason, hence my giving him a hard time...In good spirit :rolleyes:

NorM, yeah, I know. I went back and edited my post for those that might not understand my sense of humor... It's definitely there just as a jab to the folks on Ebay who are always trying to pawn their stuff on the unsuspecting as "rare".

Me, I just think it's a badass color.
