Selling not allowed?

I put a pedal up for sale here yesterday, and now the post is gone; is selling gear on here forbidden, except for EB/MM?

I didn't mean to trod on the rules of the forum, I had no idea...

Check the FAQ and Rules of the road sticky.

Selling is usually restricted to forum members who have participated and been here for a while.
Also, I believe the selling product should be EBMM material.
BP's not interested in paying for bandwidth to promote his competitors goods!

Bingo. This is solely an EB/MM forum ... no selling of other products. Even then, you can't just hock stuff for sale, they only allow contributing members to put the odd bit of gear for sale.

But with the Gear Page down at the moment ... lots of guys looking to sell stuff elsewhere (myself included)

The Gear Page want ads are, for the time being, going in the Birds and Moons website's For Sale area.

As for the FAQ's of this page - well there you go, when all else fails, read the directions. Sorry about the transgression.
