Set Up Guide / Search Function

Hi, looking for a set up guide in the forum. I know its been done many times before but unfortunately the 'search function' choses not to accept 'set up' as the words are too short - brilliantly useful !!!

So back to my original request. If a truss rod is tightened does this reduce the bow ?

If the neck has buzz across the first 5 frets but none elsewhere. What is the best solution to adjust. Does the truss rod need to be adjusted or is it the action or both ?

Apologies that all this has probably been asked before but the search function is hopeless.

Read the faq on the Ernie Ball website.

If the bass buzzes on the first five frets the rod should be loosened.

As you are look at the bass with the neck in the air the truss rod should be turned to the left.

Try using "setup" that works.
