Hey guys,

So I've already done this mod (Duncan SR5 pickup/preamp) because the Bartolini system that was in there when I bought the bass was absolutely NOT to my liking! I guess I'm wondering: does anyone have any comments or thoughts on the differences between the Duncan system and the factory SR5 electronics?

Thanks!

Phil

The Duncan Stuff sounds great as Long as you don't A/B it too a stock SR5, I've personally have done many test on every replacement pickup and preamp there is and it always ends up going back to the Stock equipment.

Everyone that I personally know that's changed pup's, usually don't like it, and end up going back to the stock setup. I think the stock setup is best, but it may be different for you.
