I like green, period. But I can see how a green bass/guitar can be difficult to color-match to clothes, other equipment, stage props etc. That being said, I'm currently waiting for a pearl green pickguard for my trans red SR5. That's gonna be a blast. I just hope it doesn't burn my retinas out.

I love your muppet avatar...oh, and the gold I'm referring to is the gold hardware on the green bass.

No, wait, now that I'm home I can see the chrome hardware. It looked gold on my screen at work.

The only other green like that I've seen was on a bass owned by one of our German pals. He called the bass "Robin" and I believe it was a Stingray 5.

Gav will have the details.

That one on eBay is a rare one no matter if the story is true or not.

There was a Limited Edition Envy Green. I'm not sure what year it was but is seemed close to a Sherwood Green. I saw a used Bongo locally in that colour not too long ago.

Doesn't really seem to be selling. It may be a rare color, but I think they are over-reaching with that price. It's just not that desirable a color, and it's not like you can't just go and pick up a brand new one that will be every bit as good.

Envy green is closer to British Racing Green, ...like a paint job on British Jaguar cars!

That's the green I like the best!
