We played a gig at the Varsity Theatre in Baton Rouge on Friday night. My Stingray once again proved to me why I'm in love with it! :D Note the poor F*nder sitting by itself...

Looks like a fun gig. Thanks for sharing. I see that you like spending alot of time on the middle frets. I tend to do that also.

I actually use the F%nder on a couple of songs. I have it strung with flats, so it gives a totally different sound.

Yeah, I guess I do tend to stay around the middle of the fingerboard. I go all over the place sometimes, though!

Nice pics - looks like your having fun out there! :)

Appears you've got a youthful guitarist - someone's son?

Thanks, everybody! Scott, Baton Rouge is a pretty booming place right now. Ever since Katrina it's been doing really well & growing like crazy. The traffic, however........

Yep, Anthony, the guitarist is 15 years old & he's the drummer's son. This kid can play the crap out of a guitar! He's really something else. He can nail most of Stevie Ray Vaughan's licks.

Very, very cool indeed!

Hoping for a similar situation with my son - he's eleven with a year and a half experience and blowing me away with his progess... Scary to imagine what he'll be doing with the guitar at fifteen!

Sharing music with your child is an awesome feeling!

Great pics there Bill. Keep on having fun with the Stingray that is what they are for. :)

Thanks, y'all! I hope my almost-2-year-old daughter picks up an instrument of some sort. If not, I have another on the way. :D
