So....Having had that suggestion thrown my way - I was in Chuck Levin's (Washington Music) tonight - in Wheaton, MD -- and they had a couple of Silos - a special..and a blue Silo (not a special). I almost walked out of the store with the blue one. I honestly didn't think I'd like a 10" radius neck because I'm so used to 15" radii...for some reason...I didn't even notice it... I loved everything about the guitar (although..I'm still biased against the aesthetics of the MM bridges - but since EB won't change them just for me...I guess I'm stuck ;) ). Anyway - the salesman made a crucial mistake - he reminded me that it didn't have a piezo...and that a piezo was available on those - and since I love the piezo on my JP6...that got me thinking - why buy one without...if I can get one with. :D

Let me ask this - what difference will there be (outside of minor aesthetics and pups) of the Anniversary silo??

Now I want a sparkle finish Silo with rosewood fretboard - with piezo.... Who has one they want to sell. I know there are a couple of retailers that are active on here... Pete??... feel free to PM me.
Thanks,

P.S. I went to both GC in Rockville, MD and Washington Music...and every Axis I touched (2 at GC and 3 at CL) had neck shrinkage to the point that the frets were overhanging the neck...SIGNIFICANTLY. There's no way people are going to buy those guitars with those frets snagging their fingers. EB should tell them to get those things into a humidor...

Sounds like he hit himself with a sucker punch on that one ;) (I've done that before, too)

Biggest and first difference between the Silhouette and the 20th Anniversary is the price. List on standard Silhouettes begins at $1535 and the 20th starts at $2500.
