So does that mean?

If the 2006 LE colour is black with gold hardware, I could order a Black Luke with gold trem? Or a Black Axis with gold Floyd? Man 2006 could be a great buying year for me.

I know..I'm plotting already to scrounge enough cash for an Axis in the hope that they have a trans-black w/ gold hardware... (drool... ) Or maybe a Petrucci....I dunno. Either way, looks like BP has figured out how to get me to part with more money ;)

The l4 will be available in every model except the Sil bass, Benji, and SUB's. All instruments will come with rosewood necks, so you can get a rosewood Axis or AL for the first time.

If they don't get you again this year, then they'll get you next when the Morse come with a Piezo or maybe someday a maple fretboard! :D

I wonder what an AL would be like with a rosewood fret board??

Dargin, does it have a different sound??

I talked to someone else about this once... but I swear I played an AL with rosewood fingerboard at the Open House. Whoever I talked to about it seemed to remember it too, and we figured it was a one-off.

I think it had an S-S-S pickup configuration, as I recall.

It sounded great, too!
