Axis 30th Anniversary

So how many 20th's?

It's not normal for Ernie Ball or any company for the matter to give the general public production numbers. Big Poppa was just cool enough to fill us knuckleheads in on the Dargie Delight.
 
It's actually very common for other manufacturers who are selling something as "limited edition" to let their customers know how many there are in a run. The 20th Silo is being sold at a premium partly for its collectability, and the number produced definitely has an impact on this.

I believe there's a big difference between requesting access to all of their models' sales figures, and asking about a limited run.

I, too, would like to know how many cousins my 20th Silo will have :D
 
It isnt common or uncommon it is what the company wants to do. But we disclosed the DD and the 30th it makes no sense to not disclose the20th silo. We have never disclosed the ltd's and dont plan on starting now.

Ill have the info tommorow....ping me if i forget!......

Well, it definitely is up to each company but a lot of EBMM's peers do release those numbers on their limited runs (contrary to what was said before).

Whatever - the reason that I love EBMM so much is that you march to a different beat and don't try to be like the others.

The down side to us offering all of this stuff at once i.e. the 30th SR, the 20th Sil, the 2006 LTD's, and the DD's is that we could have sold more of all of them if we hadnt offered so much at one time.

On the comsumer side however, this makes this instruments much more precious. There is only 13 of the one I ordered which makes me feel pretty special if you know what I mean.
