Some eye candy (pictuuureS)!!!

Howdy all! Finally managed to get some pictures of my Vintage Sunburst Silhouette at my friends house. We took more than this but this is all he sent me so far. That said, those are HIS geetars, a custom made Fender for 5G's and his Les Paul for 3G's! They definatly play nice no doubt, but I kinda like my Silo more ! The pictures dont show the Silo's true color, but it IS pretty dark and more of a 2 tone burst. Anyway, enjoy!!!

Yea, that's definatly one of the nicest flames. It comes out fine in any pictures. Cant say the same for my Silo. Maybe it's because of the mysterious ways that the peeps at EB paint the geetars, since they never look exactly in pictures as in real life.

Photographing guitars properly is one of the hardest things you can do. Maybe someone should start a thread with tips and make it a sticky?

Yea, I'm glad that I made this decision for the color combination. Mind you that I never even played a Silo or seen one in real life nor the sunburst or anything. I just relied on the fact that Steve Morse plays a MM, and picked this one out based on its characteristics. It was the best choice I could have made for my first EBMM!
But my friends LP is definatly nice, and sounds bloody awesome with those EMGs in there. I believe he has the 81 in bridge and 85 in neck. The Fender plays amazingly, but it sounds too bright for me. My friend thinks so too, so he's gonna swap the Duncan JB (bridge) and Alnico Pro (neck) for some DiMarzios. After he played the Silo, he chose to put the Breed Neck into the Fender since that is what I put into my burst beast, and I think he's going with a super distortion in the bridge. Anyway, I agree with Koogie that my silo makes the other two look better when its there . I think my friend is going to end up buying one of these!

a fender with a floyd rose !? that strat has a really pretty neck... but of course, i would take the silo any day, very pretty, and i am sure it plays even better
