Hello,
Im new to the forum, my name is Daniel.
My questions are:
1. i saw theres regular black color and a graphite pearl color... i talked to a dealer and he just said he has one that is "Black with tiny sparkles".
is it the graphite pearl or there more kinds of black? cause on the black jp i saw there wasnt any tiny sparkles(look at the pics).
2. some people told me the petrucci's bridge is like a floyd rose with less range than the original floyd rose... is it true?? it isnt going out of tune??
3. do u think that if im paying in cash the store will down low the price for me? just what u think... i mean like drop the price a couple hundered bucks (street price edit)

1) it's probably 'sapphire black' color

2) the trem has as much range as a Floyd, without the hassle of locking nut/fine tuners. It stays in tune at least as well as a Floyd.

3) I doubt it, but you can try.

Floyds are cool, and I am not going to bash them, but until you've actually played the JP, strung the JP, intonated the JP, set up the JP...then you'll know what heaven on earth is. Just look at the design, and know that it's range is simialr to the Floyd yet, it's half it's size, has the ability to set individual saddle heights, can be intonated on the fly (no special tools required), and as mentioned no locking nuts, and it stays in tune. Honestly there is no comparison here. On one hand we have a guitar that has a trem created JUST FOR THAT guitar, for of course one of the greatest guitar virtuosos EVER! What was on the other hand again?

Raz is absolutlely right about the tuning stability. Below is a video I did a while ago for someone curious about how well a JP stays in tune. You can get an idea from the video that it works pretty darn well. Just click the pic to watch.

Well, I never actually play with it like that! :D

But it is nice to know if I ever wanted to really let loose, I wouldn't have to worry about it going out of tune! :)

That is a very nice swirl job :) It's really cool how its put on too.
You basically float paint on top of water, then dip the guitar.
