Something has spoilt in my SR5

Imagine...
Three weeks ago I've bought my dreamed-of MusicMan StingRay5 made in 1996...
...and 4 days ago something has spoilt I've read on the forum that it can be a phantom coil. Maybe you could give me some advices what to do. Mayby someone had a similar experience. How expansive was the repair? (Cause I've spent all my savings to buy the guitar )

Customer service should be able to square you away and get that beautiful bass back up to snuff.

+1 regarding customer service.

if it seems like the bass suddenly went "weird" its possible your battery died. so try changing the battery if u already havent done that.
