:p So yeah. I didn't intend on posting this, but since there're a few 'ding' threads already...

I was practicing in my room when I tripped/lost balance and fell into a drawer. The Bongo hit the edge and had a pretty big bite taken out of it. :eek: pics...

o well. :o Still plays and sounds awesome. Plus it's a keeper anyway. :)

Ouch! That hurts, big time. Try to move AWAY from furniture... save the bass, then save yerself.
 
If you just want to seal the wood you can use clear nail polish.If you want to try and cover it up black nail polish should work pretty well....It all depends if you want the "Relic" look or not. Heck, I think Fender charges $300 to "Relic " a bass:p
 
Well, look at it this way. Could've been your head with the chunk out of it.

I noticed a small chip out on the bottom strap area of the MG Bongo yesterday, don't know how it got there but oh well.

As long as the sucker still rocks a dent, chip or chunk won't stop me.
