I was just saying yesterday how weird it is when you see all the suits heading up the sidewalk to NAMM and you think "I thought this was about rock & roll, why does everyone dress in all the same conservative black clothes?" Then I said "Except Sterling, he's usually in either a costume (Hippy, Pirate, etc.) or in his civies and off to the golf course!!

Not that there's anything wrong with a kilt, but I find that the sporran rash does nothing for the back of your guitar

We were bikers that year -- "Ernie's Angels", the NAMM show after Ernie passed away. We had motorcycles in the booth, Slinky brand gasoline gas station, Big Poppa's Bar and lots of mean lookin mo-fos there.
