Hi there,

I am having severe problems in setting up my Stingray 5:
The b string suffers from fret buzz and low sustain when playing higher notes (>7 fret) on it. I already raised the saddle but unfortunately, that did not help at all.

What's weird: When playing the highest fret there's heavy fret buzz and a dull sound (short sustain).

Is this a common problem for five-string stingray rays? Can anyone offer me some advice on how to fix this? Your help is highly appreciated!

Did you check the set-up specs on the music-man website faq section?
There's lots of helpful information there.
