Quick question: I have owned several SR5s over the years, and I currently own a 1998 model. I played a brand new (2006) single H SR5 Friday in a local store. The neck seemed to be thinner than mine from front to back. Now I didn't have my bass there to do a direct comparison, so its probably just my imagination. Also, I can't say I liked the neck any better than the one on my bass, but it did seem a little different. So has the neck profle changed slightly since 1998 on the SR5?

I'm sure that must be right, Figgy. I once read that Ben Hogen (the golfer) would drink ginger ale because it made his hands feel smaller and improved his feel for the club. I guess it could have been the OJ I had for breakfast or something :)
