Ok guys Now that I have two balls plus a guitar from another maker with piezo it's time for me to switch to a stereo cable. I am going to have one made for me prob by redco and I was just wondering if I needed an balanced or unbalanced cable? On there wite when making a TRS-TRS cable it asks for balanced or unbalanced and though I think it is unbalanced I am not sure.

Are you looking for a Y cable, or just a straight stereo cable? I dont know how much use a straight stereo TRS-TRS cable would be, you generally want to split the output to two different amps, and most amps only have mono inputs anyway.

A TRS-TRS cable should only be balanced if it isn't stereo, balanced cables can only carry a mono signal, because there are 2 copies of the same thing (one inverted).

I made and had some stereo cables made for me using neutrik connectors.

The best one though and I say this hand on heart is the Ernie Ball Stereo cable that Fingbeagles kindly gave me.

I am talking TRS to TRS. I would run it to a spliter box in my rack to split the piezo/mag signal.

If I did do a a trs-trs or y cable would it need to be unbalanced or balanced?
