Quick paranoid question about my Sterling:

I noticed that when flipping the switch, you can hear a buzz/hum when the switch is in between two positions. It's most apparent when a string is ringing, and you switch positions. There is no buzzing once the switch is in position.

Is this normal?

Other people have posted that the same thing has been going on with their sterling or sr5. IMO, I think what causes this is idiots comming into a GC or other music store and wanking off all over the basses and jerking the switches too and fro. It seems that people who get their EBMMs straight from the factory/case don't have this problem.
So I would say, no this is not normal.
