Sterling or Bongo

I'm not sure which bass to choose. I play pop/rock commercial. 4 peice band. I love the thin maple neck on the sterling. But I think the bongo might have a fatter more distinct tone.
I would love to here some input

Is there anyway you can try both? Sometimes you pick up a bass and it just speaks to you-that's why I'm here. (I checked out an active 4 SUB and loved it!)

sub is good for the wallet, but if you like that and if you want to spend more money for a better version, go for the stingray or a sterling. probably the stingray
