Sterling or Bongo?

I'm not sure which bass to buy. I play in a 4 piece pop/rock commercial band. I love the thin maple neck of the sterling but I think the bongo might have a fatter, difinitive tone.
I would love to here some advice

The double humbucker Bongo is definitely fatter. On the other hand, if you want a Sterling, they're great basses.

(I also have a black sparkle Sterling I'm probably going to be selling soon if anyone's interested.)

But, honest guy that I am, I do like the Bongo better, at least the double humbucker model!

My opinion isn't as valid as bovine's, considering I've only played the two for a few minutes at a couple guitar shops, but my vote is for the Bongo as well. ;)
