Sterling / Price ... etc

Just played my first Sterling at GC and I absolutely love it! I’ve always been a fan of the Stingray, but the Sterling just fits so much better.

Anyway, I have a few questions……

First, I found a limited edition Sterling (All black with Ebony fingerboard) for $1200….is that a good deal?

I know we’re not suppose to talk about prices for new basses, but I was wondering if someone could PM or email me….what is a good price for a new Sterling (standard 1 pickup)? I’m trying to decide whether I should buy local or online…any thoughts?

The all black / ebony Sterling you found is in fact the Black Onyx Sterling. I believe there are only 150 made. $1200 is a very reasonable price, altough I live in Europe, so I can't comment on US prices.
