Hi,

Was wondering if anyone has the actual wiring diagrams of the Steve Morse guitar? I'm not talking about the pic showing the operation of the levers, switches, knobs.

I assume the bridge humbucker is 4 wire conductor with two wired together then a hot and the ground? What I'm looking to do is putting in a mini switch to coil tap the bridge for even more tonal features. I don't have one of these guitars yet so that's why I'm asking for anyone who ever looked inside their morse guitar.

Do you really think that is necessary? You already have two single coils in there!:D
 
Not necessary, but would be nice to use a single coil from the bridge with one of the middle single coils for a different humbucker tone. Also, I like going being able to cut a humbucker or vice versa during songs without changing the 'tone'. I know I could easily go to a single coil sound with that 3-way lever, but it will change the tone.

Who knows, I might actually never get around to it, but would like to know.
 
Is his HSH or SSS?

I'd say this setup would be more diverse with the coil taps compared to an Emg HSH / morse setup because you can't coil tap EMG humbuckers(you can, however, simulate them with EMG accessories).

The NORM model, unfortunately, never made it to production.

As owner would need an IQ of over 170 to operate one.

It is, however, perhaps the most sought after modified EB guitar on this board.
