Some people like them.

I think they're unnecessarily flouncy for a Stingray. A bit like Mike Tyson in a tutu.

Looks nice but maybe I'm all quilted out .
Lots of boutique manufacturers have much nicer woods and quilts - I def like the unusual MM finishes (Sparkle, Carbon, etc.) over natural wood, at least for a Music Man.

New here but quilted doesn't work for me on a Stingray. So far my favs are natural/tort, vintage blonde/tort ( maybe it was naturally aged white?) black/black and hopefully the one I have coming, red/white w maple brd.
