Stingray HH !

Wow, I played a Stingray 4HH in red PLS(Seemed like black cherry burst) clear PG at Long and Mcquade today. The thing is a monster, position 3, position 4.... Eden Rig. Kabam.

So..... I put it on lay-a-way. In hiding until Saturday.

Now here is where I call thee forumites. I think I might prefer a sterling. I generally like a thin neck, but the ray seemed comfy, it was a tad heavy, it had a maple board, it wasn't a LE, and it only had 4 strings . Am I too picky?

I love the bass, but I might be a little trigger happy haha. I can't try a sterling, how much thinner is the neck? I want, I want.

So I think we've pretty much decided for you that you're buying this LE Stingray.

Then the only question becomes if you think you might like to try a Sterling, you can always get one later (in addition). You should try to find a Sterling to play to see if you like the neck & body shape.


This sounds too cool to pass up.

The Sterling neck isn't that much narrower, it's only 1/8" usually. The HH Stingray is an awesome bass.

Wow, thats insane... an LE for L&M only..... it is a BEAUTIFUL instrument guys.... no pics though unfourtunatly.... I'm sure you can find em online .

It's a deep red, with a hint of burst, on a maple board with.... a clear pickgaurd.
