stingray probs

[DAIZSECONDSKIN]

just got my first musicman, stingray 5 , ernie ball, lovely, loven it. 1 problem when i flung strings on it, i got mega buzz on it aaargh!, this wasn't the case with the strings that were on it, but the strings i replaced them with were on my other guitar. any ideas, please can someone tell me it's something really simple, and nothing to worry about.

The problem might be because the strings you've put on your new SR5 have different tension. This means you'd have to adjust the capstan (that wheel at the end of the neck) to match the tension of your strings. You might have to do a basic setup.
