today i went to guitar center and found a literally insane deal on an Ibanez EX3700 (early 90's). it is similar to the satriani model. EMG85/81 set, floyd rose, 2 octaves and gold hardware. purplish red quilt top, no EBMM top but its not bad. i went in there with my LTD viper which i hated the feel of, and saw this thing and had to have it. i could tell it was worth a hell of a lot more than the price, and sure enough i was right, it really was. oh well, their loss, my gain
