Aye, they are dots. That's one of the first things I noticed when I saw the pic and I was a little suprised. I like it either way you slice it.

Why the dots on the buttermilk Bongo?

I think in the press release for the BC Ltd.Ed. they were coming at it as a "Vintage" kind of finish and feel with the Buttercream and so I think the dots are part of that as well as the fact that they're not white plastic dots but rather cream coloured dots too, I know I get alot of comments on the Bongo's cresent markers but I think I dig the dots on the BC.
