Oki this is the thing.

I have 2 old Lukes Is with floyds. One is bone-stock, and the other one came loaded with totally different pickups. I bought a EMG SL20 set and installed. As you all know, the single coil pickups in the SL20 set ( the same ones as one the newer Luke II guitar by EBMM ), are different from those found on the original Luke I guitar.

The old ones were called SA57, these were fatter and a bit warmer than the new ones. The new ones that you find in the current Luke II model are called SLV. These are thinner sounding, and brighter with more snap.

Problem is that I have found that I like the SLVs more than the original SA57s. I know that alot of people here are of the other opinion, favouring the old SA57s in front of the new SLV.

This is why I'm asking if anyone here, who ones a current production model Luke II, is intressed in swapping their SLV single coils for 2 SA57 from an original Luke I? The pickups are in very good condition and sound great, I just like the brighter and thinner sounding SLV.

Anyone?

Regards
Niklas
