i have had my mm sr4 for about 3 months and i have already played about 5 live shows. i had a cheap nylon strap but that started to hurt my shoulder because of the weight of the bass. i bought this good Fender leather strap that works like a charm but the strap always comes of when i play. luckily, the bass had never dropped of the floor but i fear that the day might come. i have thought about strap locks but if i do that, the bass wont fit in the case becaused that straps are "locked". what should i do to solve my dilema?
 
ok, with strap locks you can release the strap, its only locked when u want it to be..good strap locks like dunlop have a buten you push and it releases the strap leaveing only the strap holder on the bass left...It will fit into the case when released.
