String change, Music man axis

Can anyone tell me how to fix a string attach screw that slips on a Music man axis , floyd rose.?
It is only the E-string attachement screw that fails to hold firmly.
The guitar has been in use for 10 months, but this is the first time it occurs.
Any ideas ?
When tuning the guitar the string slips, or stretches, causing complete loosing it......(it's not the string itself, that's checked by changing several strings without any result)
Help !!!

Are you talking about on the trem itself? From what I'm gathering, and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I think that you're looking at one of two things:

1. The black post that the fine tuners push down on may be stripped regarding the threading that goes into the saddle, thereby not letting it grip.

2. The actual saddle (the silver piece with the little metal block that holds the string) could be stripped.

Either way, the threading on each aspect could be the factor in place here. This would be something that you could probably get resolved through a local guitar shop, or through EB if you want to keep everything "original" through them.

Just my take; as always, open for correction.

It might be this . . .

A common problem with Floyds is that something (usually a piece of a broken string) ends up in the saddle where the string lock insert clamps the string tight. This is easily fixed by taking that saddle apart and cleaning eveything out of it.

You also may have overtightened the string locking screw which caused damage to the string lock insert. This results in a tiny damage that makes the string lock insert unuseable to clamp the string tight. This can be avoided by not overtightening the string lock screws.
