hahaha!!!!
I drilled holes all over one of my guitars.
it's a strat body, that i put a bass neck on, I didn't have a router so i used a drill! then i burned the knobs and pickups.
then i put a bass pickup in the neck, and put a set of flatwound bass strings on it.. it's awesome, the action wasn't high enough so i used a hairbrush handle to bring it up. then since the scale was different, i used a sharpie to mark where the frets are!
sweeet...
here is a picture of this lovely custom beauty, please note the hairbrush is of the highest quality, and those are tone cuts.......they make the tone......better? yes, and those are guitar tuners on there, not bass tuners, the holes are too small so they sit funny, but it works.

Anyway, I agree with Disquieter - try taking some time away from the Internet and get back into the real world. Take up a hobby like playing the bass. Too much time on the web isn't very healthy.

The reason for deleting thread titled "string thru body" was for the simple fact that, towards the end, it was turning into a brawl. There was also a plea from one EBer to have it deleted...twice, if I remember correctly.
