Stripped rare Stingray??

it's not pre-EB so I doubt it was a collector's item. I actually really like a natural finish. Stripping it leaves him with a not as good looking piece of wood though.
 
I think the point was that it has no pickguard or screw holes and it used to be finished with "horrendous graphics"

I won this beauty in an Ernie Ball-sponsored band competition in Germany in 2000. The original paint job consisted of some horrendous graphics, so I had it stripped professionally to a natural finish.

And it would have been worth a whole lot more on eBay if you'd left those 'horrendous graphics' on there, buddy.
 
The humbucker pickup sounds fantastic and thanks to some clever switching, offers some great tones. You can go from a nice full humbucker sound to a snappy single coil to a thick dual single sound.

I see no switch :confused:
