Sorry about this, I've searched the old threads and can't find an answer.

New to the forum and a new Stingray owner (second hand anyway), where are the serial numbers, I can only find a number on the bridge (48927) assume that this is not it, I'm not keen on taking the bass to bits to find it however.

Apologies for this but would like to date my bass.

I believe that the number on the bridge is indeed your serial number. We have a resident expert, Rod Trussbroken, who can tell you just about anything you want to know about Stingrays.

Oh yeah, and the owner of the company hangs out here too.. he might know a thing or two about these basses. ;)
