SUB Sterling - is it still available?

I've been looking everywhere in the UK for a SUB Sterling, as one day I want to move up to the Sterling (though Bongo's are growing on me, esp since seeing the videos of Open House!) yet nowhere in the UK seems to do them, or even in the US. Strings and Things list the retail prices for every model except the SUB Sterling, so I was wondering whether it was actually still being made anymore?

If not, I guess I'll have to save up for one of the two mentioned above, but I was thinking that the SS would be a great mid-point! Or I'll have to go all the way to the US just to buy a guitar... actually, that sounds like a quite a good idea!

Anyhow, enough verbal diarrhoea from me, if someone could let me know if they are still being made, that would be great!

Thanks
Azzy

poor man pays twice...

You lose money in the long run if you buy both.... skip a step and get a sterling.

Yeah I would say go straight for the Sterling if you could afford it. But if you cant come up with the cash then the SUB Sterling is an excellent way to go. Then once you get a Sterling or Bongo later on, you'll have an awesome back up bass. Win win

Wow... I haven't been to Bury SE for years! What's the shop name? Once I scrape the cash together I'll have to pay him a visit!

Funny that someone mentioned Guitartek - it was after my emailing them and pointing out that they stocked every guitart EXCEPT the SS that they added it to the website... people power eh? :D

Listing it is different to stocking it. Unfortunately.

The Bass Gallery have them listed...
http://www.thebassgallery.com/musicman.html

As do the Bass Centre...
http://www.basscentre.com/index.php?cPath=25_116

Phone them to see if they have them in stock.
